Meet!

Our little ward's name is Bogdan. Until recently, Bogdan had a happy childhood. He loved playing outside, had lots of friends and dreams. But then it became difficult for him to walk. Now every step is a struggle for Bogdan. The little boy was diagnosed with a terrible disease—Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

In Bogdan's case, the disease is progressing extremely rapidly. Despite receiving supportive therapy, constant exercise, and rehabilitation, it is becoming more difficult for the child to walk with each passing day. Bogdan experiences fatigue and pain. If the disease is not stopped in the near future, Bogdan will be doomed to severe disability with dire consequences. Most patients with a similar diagnosis do not live to see their 20th birthday.

Treatment exists. The innovative drug Elevedis can stop the disease from developing after just one injection. The chance of survival costs $2,900,000.
