Today we’d like to share the story of little Miriam. This tiny baby was born prematurely following a difficult pregnancy. In the very first days of her life, doctors diagnosed the girl with several serious congenital defects and conditions, including Fanconi syndrome and West syndrome. Today, Miriam struggles daily with seizures and has difficulties with digestion, vision, and breathing.
Despite all the challenges, Miriam’s family loves her dearly and wants nothing more than for her to live a life free of pain and suffering, with the chance to grow, develop, and find joy in the simple things. To find an effective treatment, a series of complex genetic tests must be conducted. Right now, the girl needs medication, a special diet, and medical equipment to support her breathing—and all of this requires significant funds.
Miriam’s family is now stretched to the limit financially. All they ask is for your support in their fight to ensure their daughter can live a full life.
