It’s time to meet little Varya. At first glance, Varya is just like any other girl her age—gentle, smiling, and a little shy. It’s hard to believe that this little girl has endured years of struggle and a terrifying diagnosis that nearly cost her her life.
Varvara’s diagnosis is organic brain damage, or encephalopathy. Since the age of three, she has been fighting for every movement and skill, for the ability to understand others, express herself, and be independent. The girl underwent treatment and examinations in Ukraine, Germany, and the United States, and her family consulted with leading doctors around the world. And finally, they managed to achieve an impressive result.
Last year, Varya spent three months undergoing treatment at a clinic in China. The disease, which had been progressing for a long time, went into remission. The condition of her immune, nervous, and other body systems has significantly improved, and positive changes have appeared in her sensory-motor development. For the family, this has been a true victory, hard-won after years of struggle. However, to consolidate these results and enable further development, treatment must continue.
Varya needs to undergo another round of treatment in China. The clinic’s preliminary estimate is 190,088 UAH. Today, Varya desperately needs our support.
