The little girl in the photo is named Solomiika. She has just been born, but already has to fight a serious and dangerous diagnosis. The baby has spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). Because of this disease, Solomiika cannot move normally, her motor skills do not develop. Without treatment, SMA gradually takes away strength, the ability to move, and eventually can take her life.

But Solomiika has a chance! The only way to stop the disease is with a Zolgenzma injection. This drug will not only save the girl's life, but also give her a chance for a full childhood and future. Thanks to timely treatment, Solomiika will be able to learn to stand, walk and someday go to school with her peers.
