In the photo – brave little Mia. Little Mia really wants to live. She tries to stand on her feet, tries to pronounce words and at least somehow communicate with her family. But a terrible disease nullifies all the efforts of the little girl, and even more – slowly takes her life away...
Miechka's diagnosis is called BPAN. It is an extremely rare disease that kills children at an early age. There are no more than 500 such patients in the world. Unfortunately, most of them will not live to see their 11th birthday. But Mia has a unique chance to defeat the disease, live a long, happy life, and even become an athlete like her mom and dad.
Scientists have developed a revolutionary treatment for children with BPAN. After administration of the drug, it is possible not only to stop the progression of the disease, but also to restore some of the child's abilities, helping them relearn how to move and speak. This treatment could be a lifesaver for Miekosz. However, it is extremely expensive.
